Anderson, Joseph (1832-1916)

Anderson, Joseph, LL.D., born at Arbroath in 1832, was a schoolmaster, then an editor at Wick, and (1870-1913) keeper of the National Museum of Antiquities, Edinburgh. He wrote Scotland in Early Christian and Pagan Times (4 vols. 1881-86), &c.; and died 28th September 1916.
