Griffin, Cyrus (d. 1810)

GRIFFIN, Cyrus, president of congress, was a native of England; in 1778 he was elected a delegare to congress from Virginia, and again in 1787. Under the constitution of the United States of 1789, he was a judge of the district court from 1789 for twenty-one years. He died 1810, aged 62.
