Truman was born on September 30, 1924 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lillie Mae Faulk and Archulus Persons. Later in life, he was known as Truman Capote.
In the 1930 U. S. Census, Truman is living with his mother, Lillie Mae, at a cousin's home in Monroe, Alabama.
Truman passed away on August 25, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. The cause of his death was overdose. He was laid to rest in the Westwood Memorial Park.
